THE KING OF THE MOUNTAIN!
The Mountain King is an all mountain tyre with Enduro ambitions and therefore the perfect companion for sporty rides. Thanks to the biting middle and grip external studs you are always safe on the road, especially in mountainous terrain. While the center studs are designed for acceleration and speed, the deep-sitting outer studs provide stability on the trail. Good handling is therefore guaranteed, even on soft or wet surfaces.
The ProTection layer offers an excellent puncture protection while the BlackChili compound provides a low rolling resistance without compromising in grip.
This 2.8 inch version offers a particularly comfortable driving experience. The larger diameter makes it easier to roll over obstacles, gives more traction and nestles snugly on the trail instead of just rolling over it.
The new generation of Tubeless Ready - for an even better Tubeless-Ready experience, the casing has been further optimized. This allows an easier assembly and an even more pleasant driving experience.
BlackChili Compound - This unique tread rubber mixture which is only produced in Continental German factory has revolutionized bicycle tyres. The latest polymers, nanoscale soot particles and optimized fillers all guarantee a unique performance, from downhill MTB tyres to the time trial tyres of the ProTour, they are second to none in their respective areas. BlackChili Compound improves rolling resistance by 26% and provides 30% more grip than activated silica compounds. Premium tyres with BlackChili Compound also impress with higher mileage and unlike many multi-compounds, provide a constant ride from the first to the last mile.
